I am Ms Berg! I grew up in Cloverdale, BC, when horses sometimes still walked their riders around the streets and blackberry bushes provided purple handfuls of delicious snacks afterschool. After graduation, I moved to Montreal where I studied and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, drawing and English Literature. I loved Quebec so much that I stayed there after graduation and worked for a few years. There was so much good food to eat, great music to hear and exciting people to meet! Every spring and summer for nine long years I slaved away in the wilds of Canada planting fields of tiny trees and sometimes rosebushes. After travelling around for a little while and receiving my Bachelor of Education from UBC, I taught in both Northern British Columbia and Northern Alberta, but they just were not north enough for me so I came to the Yukon, land of opportunity!!
I am very happy to be teaching Music and French at Golden Horn Elementary!
